The Nike Air Max 98 Gundam is Here

As predicted, the NIKE AIR MAX 98 GUNDAM has made a return. One of the lesser-known players in the Air Max line-up, the 98 took to the limelight once again in 2016 after becoming the focus of Nike’s ongoing collaborations with Supreme.

As 2018 marks the 20th anniversary year of the model, it was only right that the Swoosh revived the infamous “Gundam” colourway. Boasting a similar build to its predecessor, the AM98 cuts back on the layered uppers, adding extra texture with striped details across the silhouette instead. There’s more of an old skool ‘90s tech-feel about this one, but it still retains a blast of the famed 3M piping synonymous with the 97 before it, with further reflective details also taking to the prevalent lace hoops.
