The Nike Air Max BW Persian Violet Celebrates 30 Years in 2021

First released back in 1991, the NIKE AIR MAX BW may have been in the shadow of some of its contemporaries of the era, but time has been kind to the shoe: it looks even better thirty years since its original drop. Dressed in the now-iconic Black, White and Persian Violet uniform, the lightweight runner sports a simple combination of mesh and leather throughout the uppers, with that huge old-school Swoosh dominating the lateral sidewalls. The colourway has been utilised many times since the BW’s debut, but it’s never looked as good as it does here. The images here are of the 2016 release but expect something similar when the design returns in 2021.
