Hitting the streets for the first time this December, the Air Max Dia is a brand-new model in the Nike Women’s collection that offers a unique combination of both streamlined and bulky elements. Featuring a smart light grey translucent TPE upper and matching it with peach and burgundy details accents, there are definite similarities with performance shoes such as the Zoom Fly SP, giving the top half of the wearer’s foot a sleek, defined shape. Down below, a hefty midsole adds substance and presence to the shoe, giving the shoe a definitive lifestyle appearance. Of course, it couldn’t be a member of the Air Max family without the aforementioned Air Max unit, which is encased in a plastic pod within the heel section. The featured colourway here is called Aviator Grey/Off-White/Deep Jungle/Black, but there’s also a companion offering in the form of Off-White/White/Flash Crimson/Black dropping alongside this edition. As Nike continues to develop its well-planned lifestyle collection, time shall tell if the Dia Air Max follows the successful pathway driven by other popular models, such as the Air Max 270.
