Hiroshi Fujiwara’s NIKE AIR MAX LD-ZERO returns this Air Max Day, offering up his hybrid Air Max design in three subtle colourways.
The design from streetwear connoisseur and one-third of Nike’s HTM design collective, Hiroshi Fujiwara first debuted on Air Max Day 2016 and reimagines the upper of Nike’s early nylon running model from the ‘70s, the LD-1000, with 360-degree Air cushioning, injecting a contemporary touch for today’s more performance-focused demands.
Celebrating 30 years since the inception of Air Max this weekend, the Nike Air Max LD-Zero is re-presented in new colours and with a new women’s option. Offered up in black, dark grey and pure platinum, the block colour runner boasts a nylon construction with premium suede overlays, sitting atop a robust 360 Max Air midsole. Like the original LD-1000, Swoosh branding takes the forefront, with Nike branding to the heel unit for extra flair.
Perfectly poised as a must have footwear staple for summer, the model will be unleashed again this weekend, and certainly isn’t one to miss out on!
The NIKE AIR MAX LD-ZERO is set for release on Air Max Day, which takes place SUNDAY 26 MARCH. Keep an eye on Nike for the release, and if you can’t wait until then, shop the current Air Max collection via the banner below.
