Available Now: the Nike Air Max Plus Grid Series Returns in Strong Form

The retro release of the NIKE AIR MAX PLUS GRID is going to be a highlight for many fans of the TN.

First appearing on the Foot Locker shelves back in 2000, the grid pattern is perhaps the most well-known of the graphic executions on the Air Max Plus. Whilst it was the fading colours that drew many people to the original edition of the TN, Nike pushed things further in the following years with various patterns and shapes printed on the uppers of the shoe. These two new retro editions bring back two of the most memorable colourways in this series: the men’s Grey/Varsity Red/Natural Grey-White and the women’s Pebble Grey/Spun Yellow-Steel-White. As retro editions go, these are up there with the very best: the attention to detail is phenomenal and the Nike design team have gone all out to make this retro almost 1:1 with the original releases. Other colourways dropped back in the early 2000s as well – perhaps, if we’re lucky, we’ll get to see some of those make a reappearance this year too…
