The Nike Air Max Plus Parachute Prepares to Enter the Drop Zone

The NIKE AIR MAX PLUS PARACHUTE updates one of our favourites with an eye-catching colour palette and a new graphic-led treatment.

The sneaker scene in the UK definitely owes a little something to the Air Max Plus’s curves and lines. The Plus – or TN, as it became affectionately known as – has had an unparalleled presence on the streets, as it has been embraced by a wide range of subcultures. This latest edition joins the multitude of different colourways and versions of the classic Air Max Plus that we’ve seen drop over the past months. We’ve heard that Nike is preparing to drop a full series of models with a parachute themed aesthetic – and this is the first of the series to show up. Parachute iconography and typography is deployed across various sections of the upper and inside, echoing the Off-White treatment that Virgil Abloh utilised on The Ten collaboration collection. The black, royal blue and crimson combination makes for a formidable colour scheme that’s bound to turn heads.
