Far Faster Fastenings on the Nike Air Max Plus Toggle

The NIKE AIR MAX PLUS keeps up its momentum with these new colourways, each featuring a new toggle fastening system that’s both functional and stylish.

The return of the Air Max Plus, or TN as it’s more commonly known, has been phenomenal. Sometimes derided as the black sheep of the Air Max family, where its predecessors like the Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 took the glory, the Plus was perhaps a little ahead of its time. The world managed to catch up in time for its 20th anniversary and over the past few years we’ve seen impressive retro and updated versions of the regular Plus model, and a strong Ultra variant to compliment the range further. For this latest outing, the TN receives an ACG-esque toggle lacing system. The uppers and overall construction remains as you’d hope, with mesh across the upper sections, textured leather across the mudguard, tongue and heel and those all-important Alien-esque overlays on the lateral and medial sides.
