The return of the Air Max Tailwind has been interesting to witness over the past year. The original 1978 Tailwind design was the first shoe to feature Nike Air technology – a significant moment in footwear history – and ever since then, Nike has continually developed the Tailwind concept. The Air Max Tailwind IV hit the news when the Supreme crew picked the model for a collaborative release, bringing a new wave of interest to this interesting model. Following several general release colourways from Nike, this latest edition appears to have an MA-1 flight jacket colour theme, with military and hunting vibes from heel to toe. The dark olive green uppers are given some depth with black details and accents, and contrasting neon orange pops on the eyelets, small Swoosh, midsole, and the arch section on the outsole.
