The Nike Air MX 720-818 Prepares for Blast Off

Space-age tones hit the teased NIKE AIR MX 720-818 hybrid model…

Fans of the Air Max 98 or 720 can share some common ground here, as Nike creates a mish-mash of the two, and the results are quite impressive. The upper works cues from the Sergio Lozano designed 98, including its distinct embroidered upper, patent overlays and reflective accented lace loops. The shape of the upper is contoured to fit on the instantly recognisable Air unit from the 720, which features “MX-700-818” print towards the heel. Whilst black and red colourways have already been spotted floating around, this duo works a space-age choice of either metallic silver or copper uppers with tinted Air units.
