Mirroring the infamous atmos colourway from 16 years ago, we captured the NIKE AIR SAFARI SE as part of our on-foot series.
Designed by footwear mastermind Tinker Hatfield back in 1987, the pebble print Safari has seen a real resurgence this year across a handful of Air Max silhouettes. This time around, however, it’s the original model’s turn, which looks back to the NIKE AIR MAX 1 SAFARI designed by atmos in 2002. Utilising an almost identical palette as the Japanese store’s infamous drop, mixing together Monarch, Flax, and Mahogany Mink uppers paired with Hatfield’s instantly recognisable print, which all rest upon a classic light gum outsole. Check the model out on-foot now and pick up a pair today if the mood takes you…
