Earn Your Stripes with the Nike Air VaporMax Plus in Wolf Grey

The NIKE AIR VAPORMAX PLUS gets another refresh, this time in a smart new Wolf Grey striped treatment.

Nike’s VaporMax sole unit has to be one of the big successes of recent years. As one of the more subjective Nike designs, the VaporMax threw caution to the wind and went with the Nike Air concept in a big way, maximising the cushioning in terms of both comfort and aesthetics. One thing that many of us didn’t expect was to find that such an unusual and dominant design feature actually works surprisingly well when placed upon other classic silhouettes. Our beloved Air Max Plus got married to the VaporMax sole unit for the first time in 2018, with excellent results, and we’ve seen many different colourways since that first outing. This latest edition shows that patterned uppers work just as well as the more low-key colour schemes. Rendered in a neat two-tone grey, the bold stripes across this release are offset by the contrasting red of the sole and inner sections.
