The NIKE BREAKING2 TRAILER drops in anticipation of tomorrow’s first attempt to break the two-hour marathon barrier, making the impossible possible.

On Saturday 6 May at 4:45 am (GMT) three Nike-backed athletes Zersenay Tadese, Eliud Kipchoge, and Lelisa Desisa will make an attempt to break the sub 2-hour marathon mark on the track at Monza, Italy. Marking a huge moment for Nike and their runners, Breaking2 aims to make the impossible possible.

The current marathon record was set in 2014 and stands at 2:02:57 and beating this will mean the runners pushing their bodies to the absolute limit. At a grueling 26.2 miles, this huge undertaking, even for the most seasoned professional runner.
