Nike Cortez Chukka – A First Look

The NIKE CORTEZ CHUKKA sees one of the brand’s most iconic, as well as Forrest Gump’s favourite, shoes given a mid-cut makeover.

In a style very similar to the original colourway (as seen in Tom Hanks’s famous movie from 1994), the upper sports a predominantly white upper, with off-white suede details and a pop of red on the Swoosh and heel. Down below, the midsole is finished in the OG-style of white and blue, whilst the herringbone outsole rounds things off in white. All of this seems more than a little familiar, but the big change comes in the form of the higher cut, created by an extension that raises the silhouette to just above the ankle. We can all make use of high-cut trainers during the colder months – and we know Forrest would approve of these!
