Coming Soon: the Nike Día de Muertos Collection Returns for 2020

The NIKE DÍA DE MUERTOS COLLECTION is comprised of a solid four-pack of footwear designs, marking the annual holiday which is celebrated throughout Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage.

Día de Muertos’s traditional ofrendas, or altars, serve as the design inspiration behind each of the designs in the pack, featuring colours, patterns and details that pay respect to the delicate, handmade artwork of papel picado and flowers which are used to decorate the altars. Presenting remixed editions of the Nike Air Max 90, Nike DBreak Type, Nike Blazer Mid and Air Jordan 1, special attention has been placed on the colours, patterns and materials throughout the footwear and matching apparel. “Para Mi Familia” is a reference to the theme of family and features as additional detail on the DBreak Type heel, the toe of the Air Jordan 1 and the tee and hoodie graphics.
