Although Size? may be stealing the shine on Nike collaborations at the moment, parent company JD sports is still pumping out some really good special editions below the hype radar. Following on from their recent Pegasus ’89 the team at JD have kept with the black and navy running theme, but chosen a more recent model to get the JD Exclusive treatment – the NIKE FREE RUN+ 2.

The Free Run 2 is a firm favourite here at The Drop Date, as that distinctive upper panelling matched to the chunky free sole not only looks great, but it makes a great performance running shoe that’s also really comfy and wearable as a casual option. These JD editions don’t mess with the wearable formula too much, teaming nubuck and mesh in anthracite and dark armoury shades with contrasting white soles, ribbing and laces – the end result is clean and understated, giving this new school runner a bit of a traditional feel.

Both colourways of the JD exclusive NIKE FREE RUN+ 2 from the BLACK AND BLUE RUNNING PACK are available now via the link-through below.
