Nike Gakou Flyknit: On-Foot Shots

We got our hands dirty and had a shot at customising the NIKE GAKOU FLYKNIT. Here’s how it turned out…

Debuting last month in a choice of either black or white, the simplified model rolls with an untampered Flyknit upper and corresponding leather heel clip and woven pull…but there’s something missing. Featuring only a subtle branded hit on the heel counter, the rest of the design and branding possibilities are left to the wearer, with this shoe coming complete with a range of Swoosh stencils when purchased, allowing the shoe to be uniquely customised.

Still, despite its minimal design, support and stability aren’t neglected. The understated model is finished with a one-piece foam sole, offering a minimal yet insanely comfortable spin on the sock-like fit.

We got our hands on a pair and customised the Gakou Flyknit ourselves, utilising its range of Swoosh and text logo stencils to create a unique spray painted design. Check the finished model out below in this on-foot shoot, and maybe give it a go yourself…
