• Nike Launch ‘London: ON AIR’, Celebrating 30 Years of Air Max Culture

With the 30th Anniversary of Air fast approaching, Nike hosted LONDON: ON AIR: a series of compelling workshops running throughout the week on the build-up to the big day.

Taking place at The Studio, Nike have been inviting people all week to participate in creative classes, with subjects including photography, interactive design and music production. Each class is led by a mentor selected and renowned for pushing the boundaries in their respective fields. With beginner and intermediate tiers, the workshops cater to both those new to their art and those looking to progress – and with names like Radar Radio on the bill, there’s no shortage of talent in The Studio. We sampled a workshop with The Illusion of Depth (Joseph Hayes) and applied his experimental approach to ‘3D’ GIFs to create work inspired by the new Nike Air VaporMax, which is dropping on Air Max Day.

Nike’s LONDON: ON AIR season will yield a special ‘zine to be distributed for free throughout London on SUNDAY 26 MARCH (yep, that’s Air Max Day), so keep your eyes peeled to grab yourself a copy.
