The Nike LunarCharge Premium Returns in a Trio of Fresh Suede Colours

The NIKE LUNARCHARGE PREMIUM SUEDE PACK brings the new model out once again in a trio of fresh suede colours ready for the forthcoming spring months.

The Nike LunarCharge is a recent addition to the Nike line up, utilising the excellent Lunarlon cushioning system. Taking style cues from the past and matching them with new technology has plenty of opportunity for failure, but the LunarCharge successfully blends old and new into a fresh design. Looking at the shoe closely, it’s no surprise to learn that the Air Current from 1990 provided the inspiration for the overall shape and silhouette of the design. Neoprene, as seen on the Air Flow back in 1988, has been used across the upper section, adding comfort to the top of the shoe, with the eye stays from the Air Max 90 adding an element of detail. The Air Presto’s bootie construction has been utilised for a snug, comfortable fit, whilst the Lunarlon outsole from the LunarEpic sits underfoot for a lightweight, responsive feel. Since the initial drop at the tail end of 2016, we’ve seen a number of colourways and this latest pack consists of three premium suede iterations: Black/Sail, Jade/Atom and Camper Green.
