The Nike N7 Summer Collection Focuses on Lasting Representation

The NIKE N7 SUMMER COLLECTION celebrates the cultural backgrounds of Indigenous athletes, with a focus on lasting representation as a core theme. Launched back in 2009, the N7 initiative for 2021 shines the spotlight on three different athletes — Lacrosse professional Lyle Thompson, volleyball player Lauren Schad, and basketball guard Kyrie Irving — and a footwear collection that includes the Dunk Low, Air Zoom Type, and Kyrie Low 4. These models will be available via Nike’s By You platform, giving everyone an opportunity to represent their own values. The collection features a matching apparel range, comprised of t-shirts, a windbreaker, shorts, and a hat. These pieces all take design cues from the footwear collection, resulting in a visually harmonious collection from top to bottom.
