Some of the most famous logos from the streets of NEW YORK CITY could soon be hitting NIKE apparel and footwear…

That’s right, Nike has forged a two-year deal with New York City’s Franchise and Concession Committee giving them rights to print more than 30 of the Big Apple’s most distinguished logos across apparel and footwear items. The heavily trademarked logos – including identities for the NYPD, FDNY, Parks and Recreations, Times Square and many more – are usually zealously guarded, but the deal struck by Nike gives the city’s tourism board, NYC & Company, a 5 per cent cut of revenue set to be generated from this interesting partnership.
