Out Now: New Colours of the Nike React Element 87

The NIKE REACT ELEMENT 87 arrived this summer, taking the React blueprint and repositioning it as a lifestyle and casual shoe, to much acclaim. This week, two new colours are dropping: check out these on-foot shots, courtesy of OVERKILL.

Making its unofficial debut via Jun Takahashi’s Undercover show in Paris back in February, the near-instant reaction from everyone indicated that the React Element 87 was going to be a hit – and they were right. Look closely and it’s easy to see why this one had everyone talking. Carefully positioned cut-outs feature throughout the sole, offering superior comfort whether you’re running, walking or standing. The upper, inspired by the Nike Internationalist, is constructed in 100% TPE textile yarn with a semi-translucent look which really shows off the lightweight qualities of the design without compromising strength. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ll know that the launch was a huge success. With that in mind, you can expect the two colourways dropping this week – Pure Platinum/Photo Blue and Desert Sand/Smokey Mauve – to follow the same formula.
