The NIKE SB DUNK LOW ACG CELADON finds the iconic skate shoe looking slick in an archival Nike colour scheme, courtesy of 1993’s ACG collection.
The much-loved Nike SB Dunk started its intentions as a basketball shoe but by beefing up the tongue, adding some cushioning to the collar and placing some Zoom Air insoles inside, the shoe transformed from a ‘baller classic into a credible skate shoe. The SB Dunk was successful from the moment it debuted back in 2002, introducing simple styling to a market that was primarily formed of overly-technical shoes that weighed a ton. This forthcoming colourway seems to take inspiration from the Caldera Plus hiking boot – a lost high-top gem from the 1993 ACG collection – featuring speckled midsoles and earthy hues and tones throughout.
