Chill Out with the Nike SB x Ben & Jerry’s ‘Chunky Dunky’ Dunk Low

The NIKE SB X BEN & JERRY’S ‘CHUNKY DUNKY’ DUNK LOW takes us on a trip to the freezer section with the frosty fellows.

Long before it became one of the most-loved shoes in modern history, the Dunk was (unsurprisingly) a genuine basketball icon. The mid-’80s skaters were keen to find the perfect footwear to skate in during an exciting time of innovation, settling on both the Dunk and the Jordan 1 as the shoes of choice. Nike knew this and chose the Dunk to become the lead shoe in the launch of the Nike SB collection.

This special edition of the SB Dunk Low is a collaborative effort with the kings of ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s. An unlikely pairing perhaps, the resulting design features a lively White/Lagoon Pulse-Black-University Gold colour scheme reminiscent of the ice cream brand’s packaging designs. With such a vibrant combination of primary colours, there’s a slight ‘What The Dunk’ energy to these. A selection of lace options complete the release in fitting style.
