With the recent Nike SB Chronicles Vol. II going out online to massive acclaim, this is the perfect time for the Swoosh team to tell us about a new model that’s shown up in recent weeks. The NIKE SB LUNAR ONE SHOT follows on from the simplistic stylings of models such as the Zoom Janoski but adds a new element of tech to the process.

We like seeing the Lunarlon cushioning system being applied to a high-impact activity such as skating, and the smooth lines and contours add a slick feel to an already slim and nimble silhouette. A padded heel, flexible herringbone outsole, mesh heel pocket and a thrifty 2-piece construction result in a shoe that’s ready to skate straight out the box.

Ten years ago, we’d have thought it unlikely that you could have saved weight on a technical shoe without affecting durability or performance, but Nike have proved that idea wrong with this and other recent pro models, such as the Project BA and Koston SE shoes. You can’t go wrong with a bit of bright yellow Volt action on your feet either!

The full range of the NIKE SB LUNAR ONE SHOT is available now and can be found via the link-through below. Check out the Wear Test video by the NIKE SB UK Team too, where Neil Smith and co. ride out a session at BaySixty6 and put the shoe through its paces.
