Gyro-scopic Endeavours with the Nike SB x Color Skates Dunk High Kebab + Destroy

The NIKE SB X COLOR SKATES DUNK HIGH KEBAB + DESTROY finds the SB division taking a trip to Athens for this intriguing collaboration on the much-loved Dunk High. Visual inspiration on here appears to stem from the favoured food of the Ancient Greek Gods: the mighty gyro kebab. You’ll see the item in question on both insoles and embroidered onto the medial heel, paired with a matching colour palette of pita-inspired tans and beiges. The toe box gets drizzled in tzatziki sauce… or white leather, if you prefer… whilst accents of red and brown elephant print represent the meat and tomatoes from within the kebab. Almost a sharp contrast, the bright Color Skates logo shows up on the left shoe’s heel, just to remind you who’s behind this curious creation.
