Lance Mountain’s Nike SB x Stüssy Zoom Blazer Mid Is Here

Nike SB, Stüssy and legendary skater Lance Mountain get together for the NIKE SB x STUSSY ZOOM BLAZER MID – and this time they’re inviting your own artistic talent into the mix as well.

Anyone who’s ever skated should be well aware of the creative genius that is Lance Mountain. An original member of the Bones Brigade (Powell Peralta’s top ranking pro skaters, for those who don’t know), Lance brought a unique and memorable mix of humour, solid skating and general positive vibes to the proceedings – something that hasn’t changed or faltered since he started professional skating in the early ’80s. Now in his fifth decade, Lance is still out there, skating both backyard pools and the streets (see the promotional edit below to watch a 54-year old Mr. Mountain slide an impressive handrail, amongst other things) and exercising his creative skills. For this release, the Nike SB Blazer arrives as a blank canvas – and it’s up to you to finish it off with the included leopard-print stencil and whatever art supplies you have to hand. What’s with the leopard print? It’s inspired by Lance’s infamous, oversized leopard-print trousers. Further details include a hairy suede Stüssy heel counter and co-branded embroidered tongue tabs. Alongside the standard release are 48 pairs of the Blazer Mid customised by Lance himself, which will be available exclusively at Stüssy stores in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London.
