Nike Sportswear Unleash Three New Footwear Packs Celebrating the Swoosh

Watch the Swoosh adapt before your very eyes in this evolutionary new trio of footwear packs from NIKE SPORTSWEAR…

Sketches and blueprints of Nike designs took hold of the Air Max 1 earlier this month and now it’s time for the brand’s trademark Swoosh to go under the magnifying glass. Origins of the famous speed evoking logo designed by graphics student Carolyn Davidson are traced across the previously seen Script Swoosh Pack, which features both men’s and kids versions of the AIR FORCE 1, AIR MAX 97, AIR MAX PLUS and REACT ELEMENT 55 in a white, black, and red colour scheme with hand-drawn Swooshes. 

The Sunburst Pack is dedicated to the Sunburst logo from 1972, which placed multiple Swooshes into a pinwheel, creating a circular design that allowed for club names to be arched over it — a regular conceit in collegiate and sportswear graphics of the era. You’ll see this applied across the same model selection as the Script Swoosh Pack, only this time mirroring the era with a ‘70s-ready palette of mustard yellow, red, and orange.

Finally, the kids can be treated to the Swoosh Chain Pack, which features an interlinking Swoosh print piping and peel-away details appear across the same selection as the previous packs, minus the React Element 55.
