Nike Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90

The NIKE AIR MAX 90 + NIKE AIR FORCE 1 return for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, with a traditionally-coloured ensemble that should help to keep the jubilant vibes on track this year.

Nike’s efforts to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day has resulted in some memorable – and subsequently hard to obtain – editions of various models in the archives. True to form, this year, we’re seeing the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 on show and decked out in the traditional green tones. Saint Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, is said to have used the shamrock as a metaphor for the Christian Holy Trinity: this is referenced on the debossed shamrock icons on the leather panels, which are further complemented by additional gold details.
