The Nike x Stranger Things Collection Brings a Special Slice of the ’80s this Summer

The NIKE x STRANGER THINGS COLLECTION presents a strong nostalgia-tinged set of footwear and apparel that fits in perfectly with the era-accurate styling of the phenomenally popular TV series.

As a TV show set in the summer months of 1985, the forthcoming season of ‘Stranger Things’ finds the main characters in the show on the cusp of starting high school, wrestling with the typical teen topics of love and friendship, but with the ever-present fear of looming danger… To celebrate the show and the characters within, Nike have designed this small-but-appropriate set of shoes and apparel will undoubtedly make the ‘wants’ lists of all Stranger Things obsessives…

For those of you who’ve been hiding under a rock, here’s the lowdown on what you need to know: a small town in Indiana called Hawkins sets the stage and scene for the unusual and unnerving exploits of our heroes, dealing with a unique blend of horror, scince fiction and suggestion. It’s gripping and enetertaining to say the least, with incredible attention to detail in regards to the styling throughout. Of course, what ’80s-themed show could omit Nike’s pervading presence during this time period? So with this in mind, the collection showcases special editions of the Cortez, Blazer and Tailwind, alongside a small capsule collection of collegiate-styled clothing.
