The NIKE TENNIS CLASSIC AC & LUNAR PEGASUS 89 – SIZE? EXCLUSIVE set is another clever addition to the Size? roster this month. ‘Winterising’ has become a popular term for remixing classic shoes into toughened editions capable for seeing through the cold and wet season – and this release shows you just how great it can look when it’s done properly.
Constructed using a range of premium materials, each section of the Lunar Pegasus 89 has been updated for maximum comfort and durability. Soft, high grain leathers sit alongside tough mesh on the toe box and side walls. The Tennis Classic AC is rendered in tonal rubberised leather alongside a coated textile lining, maintaining the slick shape and silhouette of the original shoe. Both shoes are here in dual colourways, all of which look great, but it’s the brown/olive Pegaus that has really got us salivating.
