The NIKE WMNS AIR MAX 98 shows no sign of quitting the spotlight, returning this time in a Mondrian-esque colour scheme that’s sure to turn heads.

The resurgence of the Air Max 98 over the past 18 months has seen this bold footwear design embraced and endorsed by a new, younger generation of Nike Air Max fans. Seeing the design return from the Nike archives in 2018, the Air Max 98 dropped at the right time, fitting perfectly with the trend for a bulkier, more substantial shoe. This women’s edition is a multicoloured masterpiece, with a strong University Red, Blue Force and Orange Peel colour scheme, which works well on the technical lines and contours on the upper section of the shoe. The 98 is a comfortable and sturdy trainer, with a shapely toe box that prevents it from being labelled as too bulky. As this is a women’s release, large sizes will undoubtedly be harder to cop: get ready when this one drops in the summer…
