First gracing the running track in 1977, the Nike Waffle Racer was the best runner of its day and changed the shape of silhouettes to follow. Renewed for 2020, this women’s exclusive repurposes the model with a slimmer construction for the shape and proportion of a woman’s heel. As well as featuring an “inside-out” upper, the shoe also highlights the patent number of the OG version (3793750) and a quote from Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman ingrained in the design.
