For UNDERCOVER founder and Gyakusou mastermind, Jun Takahashi, running means more than just a physical workout – it allows him to meditate on the day and visualise his collections, letting creativity thrive. His collaborative collection with Nike is now a mainstay, returning once more at the end of this month with a performance poised selection of both apparel and footwear. The spring offering sees both the NIKE PEGASUS TURBO and NIKE VAPORFLY 4% transformed with the Gyakusuou touch, and whilst we’ve already looked at the Pegasus Turbo in detail, the Vaporfly 4% works a deep red Flyknit upper with a branded collar adding an extra spark.

The apparel is a manifestation of Takahashi’s desire to merge his unique aesthetic with Nike’s penchant for functionality; brought to life this season with the packable Dri-Fit TRANSFORM JKT, whilst the LIGHTWEIGHT JKT employs skin temperature maps, regulating breathability with laser cut holes. The men’s running tights and women’s shorts are finished in a scientifically-informed knit, promising a flexible fit with reduced seams.
