The Nike x Gyakusou ZoomX Vaporfly Next% Takes Visionary Athletic Styling to the Street

The NIKE X GYAKUSOU ZOOMX VAPORFLY NEXT% continues UNDERCOVER’s longstanding partnership with the Nike running division, this time with the VaporFly NEXT% taking its turn in the spotlight. UNDERCOVER founder Jun Takahashi introduces his GIRA (Gyakusou International Running Association) trademark styling once again – and there’s a lot to explore on this premium running silhouette. As expected, typographic branding features throughout the design, whilst welded seams and technical VaporWeave mesh hold the foot securely and keep everything characteristically lightweight. Underneath, the midsole features Nike’s acclaimed Zoom foam technology for maximum levels of comfort without compromising the feather-like qualities of the upper section. Two colourways are set to drop globally, with a third, more exclusive edition in blue and black which is destined only for UNDERCOVER’s physical retail spaces.
