NIKE always cause quite the stir when they collaborate with LIBERTY of LONDON, year after year the partnering exceeds our expectations and the imminent drop is set to be arguably the best one yet. A mixture of iconic and newly released silhouettes have been decorated with three carefully selected patterns from Liberty of London’s enviable archives with a pair to please every set of feet.
Whilst past Nike X Liberty collaborations have been draped with a plethora of colours the latest offering features a trio of wholly blue prints; blossom-esque Anoosha, a 70s inspired Lora and paisley infused Crown.
The collection sees the AIR MAX 1, AIR MAX 90 and ROSHE RUN all being adorned with the intricate prints. For the first time, NIKE’s INTERNATIONALIST trainer has made the final cut as we see the minimalist silhouette being treated to all three of the patterns and a hard to resist gum sole. For those who like their trainers with a wedge, the DUNK SKY HI will be ideal with a duo of colour-ups being released. Also making the line-up is basketball favourite, the BLAZER, which sees a fuss-free and summer ideal all-over floral upper.
Which will you choose from the pack? Have you been enticed by the mix-match upper of the Internationalist, swayed by the busy Air Max 90 or perhaps you’ve been eyeing up the premium suede sections on the Roshe Run. The Air Max 1 is undoubtably a banger but don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the rest of the pack.
We know from past releases that Liberty like to surprise us with the laces, often not at all matching the released images. Will those brown string laces be in the box that arrives on your doorstep or will they be laced with something even more spectacular, you’ll just have to wait and see.
The NIKE X LIBERTY LONDON COLLECTION for SS14 is scheduled to drop on MONDAY 7.4.14 and the RELEASE PAGE can be found via the link-through below.
