The NIKE X MAHARISHI 720 BY YOU prepares for a surprise return this week, following its debut drop back at the start of the year.

Dropping in tandem with maharishi’s Year of the Rat campaign, the leopard print-covered Air Max 720 gets another turn in the customisable By You spotlight. Four make-ups from the Nike By You archives have been designed by the maharishi team, using Woodland, Infrared, Natural and Moss disruptive pattern materials to keep with the brand’s aesthetic. The upper section of the shoe features a woven jacquard base, created to reflect light for visibility, whilst a flocked yarn fabric sits on top, designed to absorb light – creating a vivid contrast. The sole is constructed from 75% recycled material and features Nike’s tallest air unit, this time rendered in a matte finish to keep things looking incognito. To round it off perfectly, the brand’s mantra – ‘The Names Are Many, The Truth Is One’ – is inscribed on to the airbag in a gloss finish. Dropping alongside the footwear, a number of 100% organic cotton t-shirts feature DPM-inspired branding, enabling you to complete the look in an appropriate fashion.
