Virgil Abloh has had a busy year so far, focusing on women’s athletic shoes with the recent release of the Vapor Street. Now set to make his return to Jordan Brand, Abloh follows up the mass success of “The Ten” collection in 2017, finally satisfying fans of the collaboration who have been eager to see a new shape get the special Off-White treatment. Every one of his iconic motifs and design elements is back across the Jordan 5, including text to the inner of the shoe and a deconstructed design across the upper. The base opts for a translucent material instead of leather, whilst the cages remain intact with a polka dot window revealing the inside of the shoe present also on the ankle and heel. The colour remains simple in a tonal black, with the yellowed sole providing a retro feel. A selection of sports-orientated apparel will also drop alongside, including a woven jacket and pants, hoodie, tee and boiler suit in a mix of black, grey and red.
