Dropping This Week: Nike x Virgil Abloh ‘The Ten’ Air Max 97

Virgil Abloh continues to put his stamp across Nike’s most notable silhouettes, this time offering up the NIKE x VIRGIL ABLOH THE TEN AIR MAX 97.

It’s hardly news when we state that Nike and Virgil Abloh’s collaborative output shows no signs of slowing down, with regular new takes on “The Ten” collection. Next up in the series is a new edition of the Air Max 97 that comes dressed in a two-tone grey upper, with a rainbow Swoosh featured prominently on the sides. Abloh’s signature Helvetica branding sits in the usual locations – across the medial sides and shoelaces, for example – and the whole package comes finished with an exposed Nike tag on the tongue. Another Off-White themed release that will undoubtedly prove popular when it drops, we’d advise getting those trigger-fingers primed well in advance…
