Virgil Abloh and Nike Take You behind the Scenes of ‘The Ten’ with “TEXTBOOK”

Nike and Virgil Abloh have released TEXTBOOK: a new publication, detailing the ins-and-outs of their collaborative project, ‘The Ten’.

This special document, released courtesy of Nike, details the intricate process of creating the project, from conception to design, helping to shed some light on each silhouette in the collection. “PROCESS” details the design process behind the full collection, with the ten icons being separated into two separate design groups. “REVEALING” uses deconstruction to show the layers of the Blazer Mid, Air Jordan I, Air Max 90, Presto, and VaporMax, using the unseen to create something new. “GHOSTING” focuses on the Converse Chuck Taylor, Air Force 1, React Hyperdunk, Air Max 97, and Zoom Vaporfly, this time using transparent layers to create a seamless effect.
