The Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% Returns in Obsidian

The NIKE ZOOM VAPORFLY 4% first hit the shelves last year, gaining a cult following and selling through quickly – and this newest colourway should prove just as popular.

As a genuine performance runner, the Zoom Vaporfly is an evolution of the Zoom Vaporfly Elite – a tried-and-trusted long distance shoe, worn by great athletes such as Eliud Kipchoge. The unusual design tears up the rulebook to offer a sleek shape that works perfectly for everyday wear – but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a basic shoe. The cushioned Zoom X midsole features a full-length carbon plate, aiming to minimise energy loss for an extra boost of physical prowess, giving the wearer comfort and cushioning advantages. This new colourway features Obsidian uppers with a large grey Swoosh across the forefoot and a smaller Swoosh centred on the medial side. Subtle volt details on the tongue branding and insoles add a classy finish to one of the smartest shoes we’ve seen in a while.
