NIKELAB KOBE X ELITE LOW HTM

The NIKELAB KOBE X ELITE LOW HTM sees three colourways that have been given the magic touch from the legendary trio: Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker.

Kobe Bryant is known for a meticulous attention to detail in the way he prepares for a game and it’s sweating the small stuff that enables Bryant to win big when it matters most. This obsessive attention to detail is reflected in the NIKELAB KOBE X ELITE LOW HTM, a byproduct of the collaboration between NIKE, Inc. President and CEO Mark Parker, Nike Vice President of Creative Concepts Tinker Hatfield and Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara. The release blends Nike Basketball’s newest performance technologies with a refined, HTM aesthetic in three colorways – white/black, all-black and multicolour – each of which delivers premium detailing.

The shoe’s Nike Free-inspired flex grooves, are accentuated by pops of colour and sit below a hybrid cushioning system, which combines Lunarlon and Zoom Air cushioning. The innovative outsole is complemented by a Flyknit upper with the addition of Flywire technology. These technologies work together to provide superior strength, breathability and support. Part of the upper is constructed with a clear knit yarn, which creates translucent windows, which along with the translucent rubber casing that encapsulates the midsole and outsole, is a nod to Bryant’s recent willingness to be more open and transparent.

The shoe features a number of subtle details, like the two different sets of aglets that screw onto the laces. The aglets vary in colour, but each features a metallic finish and HTM lettering. In addition, HTM lettering accentuates the back tab, while each colorway features a silicone-printed “KOBE” logo on the insole for added feel underfoot.

The three NIKELAB KOBE X ELITE LOW HTM colourways will be releasing first at NIKELAB in Milan on THURSDAY 16 APRIL, with a wider release later in the summer. We will update this post once more information regarding the wider release is available, so keep checking back with us.
