The NikeLab Komyuter PRM Dragon Red Sets Autumn Ablaze

The NIKELAB KOMYUTER PRM DRAGON RED takes Nike’s Acronym-esque mid-top and reignites it with a blaze of autumnal red throughout the uppers. These shots from TITOLO show just how good this model looks when it’s actually on-foot.

We’ve seen the Komyuter – or KMTR, as it’s also known in other markets – in several guises since its launch earlier this year. This latest Premium edition reminds us of the very first iterations of the NikeLab Komyuter, originally released as the ACG.07.KMTR back in May. For those who haven’t seen this shoe in action yet, the upper transforms from a loose, open state into a sleek, cape-like silhouette that hugs the foot comfortably. The full-rubber outsole features wet traction lugs, derived from the tooling of the Nike Tallac Flyknit ACG, for extra stability in inclement weather and challenging conditions. The lacing system has been pushed aside in favour of a magnetic strap and toggle system that makes for easy fastening, even if you’re wearing gloves. The welded seams follow the style and function of premium techwear apparel, which should come as no surprise when you hear that Acronym’s Errolson Hugh played a key role in the development of this incredible shoe. We’ve already been treated to a range of different colours, but this Dragon Red edition from the forthcoming trio of releases due later this month might just be our favourite one to date.
