The NikeLab Mayfly Lite SI Pinnacle Gets a Women’s Release

The NIKELAB MAYFLY LITE SI PINNACLE gets a women’s release this week, giving the satisfyingly simple running silhouette a polished lifestyle edge in two no-fuss block colourways.

First emerging in 2003, Nike’s running model was named after an insect with a day-long lifespan. In a similar vein, the Mayfly was originally designed to last for running 100 fast kilometres but has since taken on a new momentum as a minimal and versatile lifestyle silhouette.

Performance is still at the heart of the Mayfly, and the shoe is equipped with an EVA sockliner and memory foam heel counter, which helps it mould and adapt to the wearer. It’s the sort of trainer that you don’t even know is there, constructed of a waterproof one-piece upper in ripstop nylon, which can be collapsed for easy packing in transit.
