The new NIKELAB PAYAA, that takes inspiration from the payaaqek, a sealskin boot native to Alaska, launches in a choice of six colourways.
The lightweight design exudes simplicity, with a flexible single-piece upper, constructed in foam and mesh, which is kept in place by a modern speedy-lace system, with a functional lace lock. The uppers come in a choice of six monotone shades – White, Light Bone, Soar, Hot Lava, University Red and Black. The colour from the uppers continues on to the IU midsole, which doubles up as the outsole for a streamlined fit with a tighter construction. The PAYAA may be a minimal design, but at the same time it manages to also be pretty bold, which gives it somewhat of an updated Roshe feel.
