ONITSUKA TIGER X END COLORADO 85 BLUEBIRD
ONITSUKA TIGER have collaborated with END on their COLORADO 85 for this colourway, which is inspired by the three species of BLUEBIRD that call Colorado home.
As a point of inspiration, the bluebird is quite an impressive one. Their feathers include tiny pockets of air that transforms the light when it hits them and only allows the blue light to escape, giving them a truly striking appearance. This gave END the idea for a tonal blue upper, with 3M detailing, which (like the bird’s feathers) plays with light on the formstripe, embossed heel panel and rope laces. Perforated panels add a touch of class, whilst an embossed white feather gives this release an unusual finishing touch and a nod to the birds that inspired it.
END are hosting a launch party for the ONITSUKA TIGER X END COLORADO 85 BLUEBIRD at their store on THURSDAY 5 MARCH, where the shoe will be released with limited edition packaging.
