Fit for Kings: the Padmore & Barnes x Kwills P204 is Available Now

The PADMORE & BARNES X KWILLS P204 unites Dutch illustrator Kwills and the Irish manufacturer Padmore & Barnes on a limited edition release of the P204.

Inspired by classical paintings of kings and their ceremonial robes, highly respected illustrator Kwills has taken colour and style elements and applied them to the classic Padmore and Barnes P204 model. Guaranteed to turn heads in either red or purple suede, the collar on each shoe shows faux ermine fur for a decadent aesthetic, while the terry cloth lining elevates the comfort levels to the maximum. Keeping with the deluxe vibes, golden lace-tips and detachable tassels are attached to the cotton laces. A special custom insole graphic and gold foil stamp on the left heel finishes the pack off in appropriate style.

“I have always been a great fan of the Wallabee silhouette and having the opportunity now to work with the OG manufacturer Padmore & Barnes, it is mind-blowing,’ Kwills says. ‘I wanted to do a purple shoe because that was missing in my collection. And having the shoes designed and manufactured in Europe was also a big decision factor.’. We can see these proving popular, but with only 60 pairs of each colourway available, you’re going to have to be quick on the mark.
