Puma Clyde NYC Pack – Release Info

The Clyde Comeback series continues with the PUMA CLYDE NYC PACK, bringing bold colourways to the classic silhouette.

The PUMA team continues to do the great style icon justice with its Comeback collection, but this time out, PUMA also honours the NBA team Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier spent a decade playing for, the New York Knicks. Decked out in the team colours, orange and blue, the new colourway salutes Frazier’s achievements on and off the court, as he led the Knicks from 1967 to 1977, winning two championships in the process and while dazzling the world with his outlandish but always dapper fashion sense. Like many Clydes before it, the upper is constructed with a lush, vibrant suede and includes the familiar gold leaf PUMA lettering and Clyde signature. The suede is almost entirely orange save for the PUMA form stripe and heel tab, which are blue. The silhouette includes the number 10 embossed on the heel tab, as it was Frazier’s first uniform number. The Puma Clyde made its return earlier this year after a five year hiatus.
