PUMA TRINOMIC CRACKLE PACK – LAUNCHING 27 DEC 2014
Right before the close of the year, just when everything seems to be winding down, PUMA have flipped the script by dropping a massive 9-piece collection; introducing the PUMA TRINOMIC CRACKLE PACK.
Three styles have been plucked from the top of PUMA’s retro line, with the XT2+, Blaze of Glory and R698 each given three colourways to make up the nine styles. The common feature that binds this pack together are the eponymous crackles, which appear as specially treated overlays whose patterning is inspired by sun-baked paint lines on clay tennis courts. The R698 is the most liberal with the effect, with three solid colourways making use of the cracked leather across the whole upper. Meanwhile the XT2+ combines the cracked leather on the heel piece with perforations across the rest of the upper for a nice contrast in textures. Finally the Blaze of Glory swaps out the plastic cage for soft nubuck, with a sandwich mesh on the forefoot and the crackled leather on the underlays.
The PUMA TRINOMIC CRACKLE PACK is set to arrive with a handful of key retailers in the UK & Europe on SATURDAY 27 DEC 2014.
