Often the subject of garish overlays, retro patterning and complicated colour-blocking, the PUMA TRINOMIC R698 has received a refreshingly toned-down makeover for the autumn/winter season.

One of the best features of the R698 is its shape: that wedge Trinomic sole unit combines with the low profile toebox to give that sought-after stealth bomber shape. These simple, block-colour versions throw this into sharp relief; the simple mesh, synthetic nubuck and leather uppers contrast against the white midsole to make the most of the shoe’s aggressive lines. Trinomic branding is detailed on the rear of the sole and the lacelock, while the tongue gets the original green PUMA Formstripe logo.
