The PUMA X KASINA DISC LUX is the latest premium instalment in the Disc’s reign of dominance – and it looks mighty good from where we’re standing.
PUMA first developed the Disc Closure System in 1992, making it quicker and easier for athletes to put running shoes on. The PUMA Disc, part of the Trinomic family, became sought-after for its comfort-boosting clicks and unique innovative design. In recent years, the PUMA Disc has become a staple on the streets, finding many new fans along the way. The Disc has been interpreted many times, in hundreds of colourways and makes but still remains super fresh.
For this release, PUMA have teamed up with Kasina – a well-known Seoul-based sneaker store and consequently one of the more interesting street brands – to add a touch of sophistication to the classic. The resulting shoes take cues from high fashion but maintain a streetwear appeal. The Disc Lux C is designed with a pristine white quilted soft leather upper caged in caramel and chocolates hues, whilst the Disc Lux G combines fine leather and suede material with a familiar ruby and dark green colourway. Both styles hold the original cushionCELL mid-sole for advanced comfort.
The PUMA X KASINA DISC LUX released in Asia a couple of weeks ago, and will be available in the UK & Europe from this SATURDAY 4.10.14, so if you’re after a pair then look no further than the link-through below. Good luck!
